Apex Legends' Revenant Reborn Guide- Mastering The Undead Assassin's New Abilities

Apex Legends Season 18: Resurrection has brought loads of new features to the popular battle royale, but it’s also given some of the game’s oldest features–like the 359-year-old undead murderbot, Revenant–a significant update. Referred to by Respawn as “Revenant Reborn,” Apex’s new seasonal update has gifted the game’s unfriendly neighborhood murderbot with a brand new set of abilities to master.

In place of the ability to cancel out other legends’ abilities and instantly respawn his squad via his Death Totem, Revenant now has improved movement abilities and an additional shield to protect him from incoming damage. While these changes may sound insignificant, nothing could be further from the truth–with Revenant Reborn, Respawn has taken a character who was often sidelined in the game’s competitive scene and reworked him into an even deadlier force to be reckoned with. Keep reading for a closer look at all of Revenant’s new abilities, along with tips to …

Halo Infinite Players Aren't Thrilled With Game's Battle Pass Progression

Players are digging into Halo Infinite’s free-to-play multiplayer several weeks earlier than expected, and while it seems fans are enjoying 343 Industries’ latest from a gameplay perspective, the game’s battle pass progression is leaving something to be desired.

Halo Infinite doesn’t reward battle pass XP from matches, medals, or performance. Instead, all progression is tied to completing daily and weekly challenges. While that sounds okay in theory, many of the game’s weekly challenges are incredibly specific–such as killing an enemy Warthog or killing enemies with a specific type of weapon. While players can use challenge skips acquired in the Battle Pass (or purchased outright) to get new weekly challenges, there’s still a chance of receiving a challenge even less appealing than the one players are already looking to get rid of. Completing all weekly challenges is also tied to receiving special cosmetic rewards, something that is frustrating when some challenges …

Itch.io Now Requires Creators To Disclose AI-Generated Content

Creators and consumers are tangling with the use of generative AI in everything from games to TV-show opening sequences, and the sentiment on AI seems to be shifting. To help consumers make decisions about which games to buy, game storefront Itch.io now requires all creators to disclose the use of generative AI in games, Itch.io founder Leaf Corcoran announced in a forum post to the site.

The text of the post itself is fairly straightforward, directed primarily at the creators who will have to disclose this information.

“We’ve deployed a new field to project edit pages called ‘Generative AI disclosure.’ This field asks if your project contains the results of generative AI. If you select yes, then we also ask what kinds of generative AI you utilize, including Graphics, Sound, Text & Dialog, and Code,” Corcoran wrote. Selecting Yes will give your project an “AI Generated” tag, while selecting No will give it a “No AI” tag.

Importantly, though, Corcoran notes th…

Ken Levine Comments On Next BioShock Game- "I'm Not Involved With It At All"

BioShock creator and writer Ken Levine has commented further on the next BioShock, which is in development at Cloud Chamber Studios. Levine is not involved with the game whatsoever, which was confirmed already, and Levine said he wishes the studio all the best.

“I’m not involved with it at all. I don’t want to do half measures. I never want to be half in half out. I wish them the best. I know as much about the game as anybody else, essentially. And I’ll play it as a player when it comes out,” Levine said in an interview with Arcade Attack.

This isn’t the first BioShock game that Levine isn’t involved with, as he also had no involvement in 2010’s BioShock 2, which was developed by 2K Marin.

The new BioShock might be an open-world title. The BioShock series has been dormant for some years now, with the latest mainline release, BioShock Infinite, coming in 2013. Before this, job listings at Cloud Chamber suggested that the new BioShock would feature a “new and fantast…

Lost Ark's Early Endgame Content Is Being Nerfed

Some of Lost Ark’s Tier 1 and Tier 2 endgame content will be getting a little easier in an upcoming update, as Amazon and developer Smilegate RPG have outlined various balance changes and fixes coming to the free-to-play MMORPG.

A total of six early Guardian Raids and four Abyss Dungeons will see their difficulty downgraded to be made easier. Amazon states the change is based on data and feedback, which showed that some of this content was giving new players a hard time and resulting in low success rates.

According to the game’s Steam page, one of the first things players will need to do is look through applications to ensure they’re hiring the right developers for the job. Diablo 4 Gameplay Leaks Show Barbarian Combat And Open World

Around 40 minutes of leaked Diablo 4 footage has emerged. The footage is from a test-build of the highly anticipated action RPG.

The leak consists of two videos, one is around five minutes and the other is a little over 38 minutes. As indicated by PC Gamer, a link to both videos was posted in the Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit by user iV1rus. The footage shows a barbarian character exploring a city, and then heading out beyond the city walls to fight enemies and explore. The videos were likely pulled from a private Discord stream, as heavily edited voices talk over the footage and the sound of Discord notifications can be heard.
