The latest chapter of Call of Duty: Warzone is unfolding, as the long-awaited Season 4 update has now arrived for the battle royale game. It ushers in new playlists updates, new events, a new vehicle (the dirt bike), and a 120hz refresh rate on PlayStation 5, among other things.
A new Battle Pass has arrived as well, while Verdansk ’84 now has further mysteries to unlock with Red Doors now appearing across the map. Additionally, eight new LGBTQIA+ Pride flag Calling Cards are now available to everyone for free for Pride Month.
The full patch notes have now been posted on developer Raven Software’s website, and you can see them in full below. The update is about 12 GB for people who own the free-to-play Warzone and have it updated.
Note that to get your PS5 up to a 120hz refresh rate, you’ll need to have HDMI 2.1. You can see the complete patch notes below, as written by Raven.
Looking ahead, Raven said it will make “sweeping balance changes” to weapons across the board with the aim of bringing the average time to kill to between 60-100 milliseconds. “We want to enable more escapes from impossible situations, moments of finesse, epic outplays, and opportunities to flex exquisite marksmanship,” Raven said.
“Due to some Weapons being far more lethal than others in their class, we feel a reduction in the efficacy of those outliers is necessary.”
